저는 캐나다 밴쿠버에서 자라 사이먼 프레이저 대학교에서 회계학을 수석으로 졸업했습니다. I grew up in Vancouver, Canada, and graduated with top honours in accounting from Simon Fraser University.
처음 한국에 온 건 잠깐의 모험이라고 생각했지만, 어느새 10년이 지났습니다. 그 사이 수천 명의 학생들과 함께 공부했고, 지금은 서울을 제 집이라고 부릅니다. I came to Korea thinking it would be a brief adventure — ten years later, I'm still here. I've worked with thousands of students in that time, and Seoul has become my home.
제 수업은 학생 한 명 한 명에 맞춰 직접 설계합니다. 교재가 도움이 될 때는 교재를 사용하고, 그렇지 않을 때는 직접 자료를 만듭니다. 영어는 외워야 하는 과목이 아니라, 진짜 사람과 진짜 대화를 나누며 익히는 언어라고 믿기 때문입니다. I design every class around the individual student. I use textbooks when they help and build my own materials when they don't, because I believe English is a language to be lived through real conversation — not a subject to be memorised.

Each class is built around your goals and level, covering conversation, reading, writing, and grammar. Most lessons are one-on-one, but small groups (family, friends, colleagues) are welcome too.
